Saturday was beautiful! We did our Saturday thing (being outside, dying Easter eggs) and then listened to Conference. We loved the messages on family and the Savior!
Jason and I were sitting outside talking after the 2nd session. We were missing our Becca and talking about our family. One of us threw out there that if we were on the road by 2 AM, we could enjoy all Sunday morning with Becca, and then still be able to listen to the two sessions of conference on the drive back. So being the rational people we are, we did. We woke up at 1:30AM, packed up everything for Easter, got everyone in the car, and drove to Virginia. So fun! The best part was sneaking into Becca’s house and sending Joy in to wake her up! Loved being with her! Loved seeing her happy face!
“Gecca’s House!” (She asks me at least once a day, “Where’s Gecca?” “At Gecca’s House”)
Easter Egg Hunt
While the ham warmed, Becca showed up around town. Her beautiful university, the new house she and her roommates have signed a contract on for next year, and the Blue Ridge Parkway (it passes right by her town).

Easter Dinner – all of us!
Good-bye my beautiful girl! We love you!
Driving home, we stopped in West Virginia between sessions. Beautiful day!
During our 15 hour drive, we listened to General Conference and to A Natural History of Dragons. Our book ended just as we turned into the street in front of our neighborhood. We all thought that was well timed! (and we enjoyed the book!)
