Monday was Jessi and Lizzy’s Winter Concert.
If you listened to any of those, then you realize that while they try, they aren’t up to the same standards of Klein’s music program. The concert etiquette, the facility, everything is different and my heart, I must admit, was a bit sad at what the kids had lost. BUT their kind Director goes above and beyond for these kids! There are no harps in JCPS music program. Her Director wrote this accompaniment to one of Jessi’s harp solos. I just appreciate that so much! She lets Liz play music that might be a little bit of a stretch for her. She is just kind to my girls and for that I am so thankful!
Thursday was the Lion Club’s Party for the children at VIPS.
Thursday night Sammi also had a Seminary Christmas Party. They played a White Elephant Game. She had a fun night!
Friday was our 22nd Wedding Anniversary! We went out for Indian – super spicy, but so good! Followed by Baklava. What a combination!
Out as a family looking at Christmas lights! Jason made homemade egg nog!
Hanging out!
Christmas gift from my Visiting Teacher – so kind – homemade and everything. My ladies got poinsettas!
Chocolate covered peanut butter balls. I refuse to say how many of those I ate!
Sweet Bella – her PT works her hard!
When Bec’s home she always asks for her favorites. So this night was Salt and Pepper Shrimp!
Brother liked the feeling of the air through the vents.
Merry Christmas Joy!
There is way too much good food this time of year! Some school work from Alex.
Speech for Joy and Alex. Bella got chips after one therapy session. Now she thinks she should have them everytime!
Alex’s school – he received presents and gave homemade ornaments with a braille A (made from cloves). He has been learning a lot in O&M – so very proud of him!
The ornaments Joy and Bella made (I made) for their teacher, aids, and bus drivers.
Joy and Bella’s school party. Merry Mismis Joy!
Ten Little Snowmen
A small snowfall over night produced mysterious messages :)
Joy and Liz had a lot of fun playing in it!
So cute!
