Our summer is starting to fall into a rhythm. Sleeping in till 7 (wahoo!), therapy, doing some cleaning/purging, and generally playing.
Katie, my niece, spent the week with us. We had fun with her here.
Therapy – working, ever working toward the day Bella will be able to walk on that those legs! Look who is starting to cruise the furniture! Working towards walking without holding onto a person, She actually paid attention through her whole session of Speech – a miracle! He keeps trying to stand. So proud of their efforts!
Playing the Wii, Singing Camp Songs, Eating S’mores, Making jewelry,
Going swimming, Headed to friends to play
Eating, Playing war, Jumping on the trampoline, Eating popsicles,
Becca Lynn came home late Tuesday night! Home! Yea – everyone asleep in their own beds under our roof. A wonderful feeling. Saying hello to her Brother.
Just worn out! Finally I was able to give her the graduation gift I got her. It’s a necklace that says “I love you.” It’s from our family to her. When she is alone in Idaho, she can remember we are all here and love her. The necklace is two circles. One says “Wǒ ài nǐ!” (I love you in Chinese), and the other has a hand in the sign of “I love you.” We love ya Bec!
The purging continues. Becca went through her clothes and jewelry. Her sisters and Katie were the lucky beneficiaries. We cleaned out Sammi’s closet. That is where I stored all the clothes from size 6 to 12. I got rid of five bags and three boxes. What a huge step for me! I wish I could say it’s because I was pregnant and nesting, but no, after three years of trying I think I am coming to terms with the fact that Jason and I will not be having any more biological children.
Brother’s first cane!! Playing with Husky
Becca’s great excitement for the week – pointe shoes!! (and a new dance bag!)
I thought this was precious – I looked over to see Joy and Bella “playing cards.” So cute! And Bella “trying on” these glasses!
Wednesday night – YW Pool Party
Thursday night Jason and I snuck away for dinner! Gringo’s for Tacos al Carbon and Tamales.
Friday night I got away to this wonderful place. How much I love the temple! I love how I feel here.
Saturday we took the kids to see Monsters University. Brother playing around while waiting for the movie to begin. Brother really isn’t into movies. Joy and Bella, on the other hand, love them! Bella surprised us with this movie! We were afraid that she would be scared, but she loved the movie! She would growl right back at the screen! Afterwards Lizzy, Jessi, Joy, Grace and I went swimming. It was so hot that day – over 100 degrees! A great day to go swimming! That night we had Grace and Aiden over. I thought Aiden was so cute while reading the scriptures with our family.
