There were some GIANT strawberries at HEB this week, so we decided to cover them in chocolate – yum!!
We finally harvested the random radish that grew in our garden this year – huge!
We finally had a papaya ripen – it was really good! And a cool stick bug!
Working with Brother on cruising (yes, around the dog’s cage) and then off to Baby time at the library.
We picked up Jason and Becca from the airport (YEAH!! YEAH!! YEAH!! They are home!) Then we drove up to meet Zachary Hale Ward. Oh, he is so little! Love him!
Present time from Walt Disney World
Lizzy’s class program on Farmer Boy. She was Almonzo, a narrator, and a pig!
Music therapy
Life…eating (maybe), going to school, Vision therapy (not a very good vision day, it seems to make him mad on the days he can’t see as well – makes sense)
Joy being silly and Alex being cute
love this series…cruising
Trampoline time and Becca cuddle time
Art Club – pour paint pots
Cuddles My piano, how I have missed you (had to replace the batteries)
Friday was Kristin’s last day with us. She has been with us for a year and a half. She is getting married and beginning a whole new life. We wish her every happiness. She will be missed! Jason sent her home with bags of fresh herbs. Her fiancee is quite the gourmet cook!
Friday we had to go buy Sammi a new coat – it was forecast to get down to 39 degrees that night and the girls were camping out! Dropping Sammi and Jessi off at the church for their campout.
The cowbird is back. She comes back year after year to this same spot in the church parking lot. I love her speckled eggs! Sweet cuddly baby
The next morning I joined them for the 5 mile hike at Burroughs Park. The weather was perfect!
Quick McDonald’s afterwards…
While back at home….Mandy had come to spend the morning with Lizzy while Mama was at a Stake RS event.
Our three little things
Zach and Becca spent the day together. They had prom preparations to make. The tux is rented. The dress is being altered. It’s going to be great!
Holding Alex and looking through Disney pictures.
Jason, Becca, and Lizzy went out to dinner with the Parkins to Peli-Peli. They really enjoyed it!
Meanwhile Sammi and Jessi were finally surfacing from their campout and hike. They danced in the living room, we drank smoothies, Joy entertained us with her version of the chicken dance, and I introduced the girls to MacGyver. :)
We had another hiccup with Alex’s adoption paperwork this week, but our attorney is on it. We are hoping SOON to finalize.
