Lots of people played at Spring Break. I don’t like to go do things (spend money) if Jason can’t join us. It just doesn’t feel right. Jason took off Thursday, so we had a four day weekend to play!
Our roses
Thursday – Brenham
Jason and I love a car trip. There are drinks, loud music for singing along with, jokes, lots of laughing (and then crying from Bella who is overstimmed), and sometimes fudge.
Fireman’s Park to play and have our picnic
Blue Bell Factory
Love how Jason and Becca are standing the same way. Genetics?
Lizzy, my people lover, walked up and started helping the Blue Bell ladies set up new cartons (empty). They are just for display in the lobby. Joy thought this was a great idea and helped out too. The ladies gave them each an empty carton to take home for their help.
We loved the tour. It amazes me how machines can do so many things.
Yummy ice cream – Brother wasn’t a fan, too cold!
One tired girl on the way home.
Friday
We went to see The Croods. I have to say we will be buying this movie! Extremely pro-family message. Loved it! I laughed. I cried. I love Grug, what a good Dad (although he could work on his relationship with his MIL). It had a great coming of age theme (something we are facing with Bec). Jason loved the theme of overcoming your fears. From our family of nine, eighteen thumbs up.
Then I took Liz on down home and the big ones watched The Host with Dad. Jas, Jes, and Sam had read the book and loved the movie.
Afterwards we went over to the tire park in Tomball.
