Today I took Brother to the eye doctor. It was a different doctor than diagnosed him with CVI. This one was kind. Really there is nothing new to say. He is near sighted, his optic nerve is pale and underdeveloped. He has CVI. It's not really understood. The doctor was sympathetic. Really there's nothing to be done from a medical aspect. He told me to pray and that there was a plan for him. What a blessing to find such a doctor.
He said that we would know what kind of sight he will have by the time he's three. All we can do now is love him and continue to give him the experiences he's having.
So we wait and see...
I left with the most peaceful and calm feeling. Whatever Heavenly Father has planned for our son will be OK. Alex is our sweet little boy who we love so very much.
