We drove from Meridian, MS to Pigeon Forge, TN on the second day.
One of our favorite things to do was stop at the Welcome Centers when we drove into new states. Jason says they employ the nicest people there. And, my favorite, they give away free maps! I love maps!
We started to notice a rise in the elevation and rocks on the roadsides.
Welcome to Tennessee!
A fun plant we took a picture of for Sammi
Fun mosaic bench Helping Alex feel the tiles
Sammi gave me this ceramic girl for my birthday. We decided to take random pictures of “Samantha” throughout our trip.
I spent a lot of time in the back of the car between Alex and Bella, feeding them. It was only fair for Bella to have a chance to feed me!
Chattanooga – Driving along the Tennessee River
We found the chapel there and marveled at streets with hills
That night we made it to Pigeon Forge where we stayed at the Inn at Christmas Place . We thought all of the Christmas was fun, especially since we were married in December! There were bits of Autumn in their decorations.
For dinner we went to Mellow Mushroom. Bella did so well with all of the restaurants. I was amazed. She always surprises me! She enjoyed watching people. Jason and I really loved their pizza!
