I love that date! How fun it would be to be born today at 10:10 AM!
Anyway, Monday was my birthday. Nurse Maribel brought us doughnuts. That was so nice! Then my Sammi showed me once again how sweet her heart is. She disappeared for a while and then she explained what she was doing. In our house I pay a penny per pinecone that the girls pick up. So Sammi had gone outside and picked up 150 pinecones so she could buy me a cake and some icing. I did take her to the store, but I didn’t allow her to buy the cake and frosting. She bought candy instead. She came home and made me this cake. What a sweet birthday gift! Mama stopped by later with 2 dozen brightly colored cupcakes! I didn’t get a picture, but it was really sweet. We had lots of sweets that day!
They are digging a huge hole in the lot behind us, so everyone has been in the trees looking over the fence! It’s been really nice outside just means we have been spending a lot of time outdoors. We thought this was cool – a cicada emerging.
My beautiful babies:
Friday night we got to watch a movie that I have been searching for a long time, The Million Dollar Duck. I know, I have amazing taste!! Yea for pizza night!
Lizzy is loving soccer – and I am loving watching her coach! He is so sweet with this kids. He was running all over the field. He is a great and positive teacher!
Saturday night Rice Krispy treats. Lizzy came up with the idea of adding drops of color to the marshmallows – very festive!
