Our Week

Our butterflies became chrysalises!  We started to see butterflies!

For Whataburger’s 60th Anniversary, they held a promotion.  Anyone wearing orange got a free hamburger.  With a family of 8, we are all about free food.  Unfortunately for most of us, the only orange shirts we had were from Halloween!  :)  But it was fun – the entire store was filled with orange.  It was very yummy by the way!

In fact it was so yummy we had Whataburger again the next day!  Why?  Well, our power went out for 5 hours.  We called Jason who came and set up the generator for Bella.  Then about dinner time we decided Whataburger sounded great again.  We are crazy, but we eat well.

Bella’s fridge needed to be defrosted – but that exciting, you would think.  But Becca and Sammi thought it was so cool.  They stayed up till midnight using hot water in syringes and melting rivers in the ice.  :)

Thursday was a sad day for us.  It was Valerie’s last day.  We wish you all the best Valerie!
