This might get long…for Family Home Evening, we skyped Kris – very spiritual I know. But we all loved it! We loved hearing her giggle and learning the latest :)
Lizzy had to do a project on what she wanted to be when she grows up. She already knows that one – she wants to be a nurse! So with all of our equipment around she made a great poster. If you click on the picture, it should get bigger – it’s too cute! With the extra papers, the girls made Bella a crown. :) That paper is her nursing notes – adorable. Try to read it!
Joy has moved on to another favorite movie, My Neighbor Totoro. Lizzy is showing the sign that was invented for this movie. Very cute!
Lizzy has had trouble for the last year or so with one particular capped tooth. She got two new little abscesses under it and the dentist decided to finally just pull it. She received a little oral sedation and got to skip the whole day of school.
On Wednesday Becca had a couple girls over to work on a project for health. They had to do a presentation on Ecstasy (the drug). They made a poster and a movie of a party where ecstasy was being passed around and then told some facts about the drug. I loved that Becca invited the girls here and included her sisters in the movie.
On Thursday the girls went swimming after school. Jessi had her friend Torin over. Everyone had a lot of fun. The water was a little cold for me – I had goose bumps on my goose bumps, but the kids didn’t seem to care! :)
On Saturday we had planned to go up to the farm to pick dewberries (I’m told there is a bumper crop this year) and go have crawfish, but it was raining and we had no nurse. So instead Mama and Daddy brought the crawfish to us! YUMMY!!
Random shots: Jason reading to Lizzy, Becca holding Bella, the one shot I got of Becca getting ready for the dance, Lizzy all dressed up, and Jason with his 2 babies
