Thanks to Becca being in orchestra, the Turpin family got to spend a day at Splash Town at our own discounted expense!
It was immensely fun and everyone enjoyed being there.
When we walked in Jessi immediately wanted to go and ride the largest, scariest, fastest ride there. It is only 5 stories tall!
No one else was willing to brave it with her.
Following pictures show her descent. Click on the pictures to see bigger versions.
She was very brave but looks terrified all the way down.
Once she got down she ran to Momma and yelled “That was AWESOME!”
Joy had a blast in the Pirates Cove
And Becca too.
Rock jumping and rope swinging were some favorites for Sam, Jes and Liz.
It was very bright outside as evidenced from the happy squinting eyes.
Joy is signing to Mama, ‘Again, Again!’
Sam, Jes, and Liz raced each other down a small slide.
I think it was a three way tie.
Next to the Lazy River there was a cool water fort that somehow we managed to oohh and aahh over all day but never actually went on it.
The Lazy River though was a constant favorite as the current carried us all ar0und.
Mix your own ICEE’s were also a favorite!
Joy wore out before the rest of us.
Over all the Turpin’s had a wonderful time.
