Some of the interesting life experiences you can have when you get to know EMTs really well, like going for joy rides on gurneys!
Sammi and Clara (We are taking good care of her, Asia)
There are many times when I look at my babies and I am sad. They just keep growing and growing and growing. Why aren’t they babies anymore? Why must time keep it’s steady march? My babies are growing up.
In Sammi’s Back to School Blessing, she was told that she would be even as a caregiver to Joy. Well, that is very true. There are many times I have to call on her to help me with her sisters. She does it so very well. Thanks Sam!
October 3 & 4 were General Conference – wonderful! I love listening. It answers my questions and inspires me to be so much more than I am currently. That weekend was also my birthday. Mama and I went out to lunch and to the quilt show on Saturday. That was such a nice break from my life. Thanks Mama! And look – I am now 342 years old! And you thought only the ancient patriarchs lived so long. :) Sammi couldn’t find a 6, so we had to do some math. 3 and (4+2) = 36!
Life in Bella’s room. Our sweet chunky monkey is growing and staying out of the hospital – so very grateful! Lizzy playing in her toys. :)
WARNING!:
Be forewarned Joy is a drink thief. You have been warned!
BB – Before Bella, every Saturday Jason and I did the yard. It was a matter of a little pride for me. It was also an hour to myself outside of the house. That can’t happen now. Talk about a lesson in humility, we even got a letter from the neighborhood association! So Jason mows and that’s about it. But what I like is to blow, to get everything neat and clean. I haven’t been able to. This Saturday I did! :) But I couldn’t find our gas powered blower, so we had to use our old electric one. The good part is the kids could help me. That was fun!
And then the girls found a badminton set that Grandma Turpin had left. They played for hours having so much fun!
Sammi and Becca went to a costume party. Sammi as Cleopatra and Becca as the graduate. We were teasing her that she was graduating from preschool. She said medical school. :)
