A young man in our ward at church has taken it upon himself to rake our yard. I am so grateful – we haven’t had the time. He found our grass and flower beds under all of that rotting vegetation. Thank you!
On Saturday Jason and I were able to do our normal yard work for the first time in I can’t remember how long. Granted I had to go in and feed and medicate the baby, but I was able to be outside doing “normal” things. Ahhhh!! Wonderful.
We have had the stomach bug. We are down to our last three with it, so hopefully it’ll be gone soon. Please be gone soon! :)
I am enjoying General Conference. I loved this scripture:
Moroni 7:33
And Christ hath said: aIf ye will have bfaith in me ye shall have power to do whatsoever thing is cexpedient in me.
I enjoyed Elder Scott’s talk about the temple. I knew that story about his children, but he so rarely talks about his private life like that. I think it meant more to me as well because their son, Richard, had a heart condition similar to Bella’s. Elder Scott’s daughter is my RS President. She came up to the hospital the day after Bella’s surgery. We marveled at how far medicine has come in that short time and the miracles that are now possible. I am grateful that Bella has been repaired and is still with us.
